About me
Hi, I’m Lisa.
I’m a trauma-informed yoga teacher, breathwork and meditation facilitator, emergency medical responder + a prenatal, birth and postpartum doula. My work is rooted in compassion, non-judgment, and the belief that every person deserves to feel deeply supported, heard, and empowered throughout their journey. Over the years, I’ve worked alongside marginalized communities in a variety of settings, from harm reduction support to empowering women and families navigating violence, crisis, and transition. These experiences have shaped the way I hold space — with openness, humility, adaptability, and deep respect for each individual’s lived experience. I value the innate wisdom and intuition within every woman and family. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I meet people where they are and offer care that is collaborative, personalized, and guided by what feels supportive and meaningful to them and their loved ones. My offerings are available on a sliding scale and may include prenatal yoga, meditation and breathwork for birth, women’s circles, postpartum support, nourishment and meal preparation for mental health and wellness, holistic and herbal care, yoni steams, and compassionate support through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum healing.
My intention is to create spaces where people feel safe to soften, reconnect with themselves, and be held with care through every stage of transformation.
My services
Prenatal Support Sessions
These in-home prenatal support sessions are designed to offer grounded, holistic care throughout pregnancy and preparation for birth and postpartum. Sessions are approximately three hours long and are tailored to your unique needs, experiences, and intentions. Together, we may explore topics such as family-centered birth planning, informed choice and autonomy in birth, postpartum preparation, emotional processing, confidence building, and creating a deeper sense of trust in yourself and your body. Sessions can also include support in working through fears, limiting beliefs, and patterns that may arise during the transition into parenthood. Care may incorporate restorative yoga, guided breathwork and meditation, trauma-informed emotional release practices, massage, herbal baths and infusions, homeopathic and holistic wellness support, and compassionate space holding throughout your journey.
Birth Support
I join you in your home or birth space when you feel ready for support and remain by your side throughout the duration of labor and birth, staying until you and your family are settled and ready to rest. My role is to provide grounded and continuous support — emotionally, physically, and practically — while helping to create a calm and nurturing environment where you feel empowered. Following birth, I remain with you to ensure you are comfortable, nourished, hydrated, and cared for during the immediate postpartum period. Support may include gentle guidance with breastfeeding and newborn feeding, tending to the placenta according to your wishes, emotional support and reassurance, and holding space as you transition into the first moments with your baby.
Postpartum Support
These in-home postpartum visits are created to offer gentle, nourishing care as you move through the profound transition into parenthood and recovery after birth. Together, we create space for you to feel heard and honored in your healing process during this tender and transformative time. I can provide emotional space holding, practical care, nourishment preparation, and tending to your overall well-being — mind, body, and spirit. I offer warm, nutrient-dense meal preparation for you and your family, mineral-rich herbal support for replenishment and recovery, and holistic postpartum care tailored to your individual needs. Once postpartum bleeding has fully stopped and your body feels ready we can include nurturing yoni steams to support rest, warmth, and healing. Additional support can include gentle guidance with baby wearing, newborn care, grounding practices & herbal infusions.
